The money grubbing “Best of Northstate” pitch.
We admit to being flattered when the pitch arrived in our email: “I would like to congratulate The Address Realty on making it to Top Five in Best of North State 2024.” Wow, “Top Five.” That sounds important.
The flattery quickly turned sour when we read the attached flyer, seen here. Oh crap. This whole “Best of Northstate” scheme is nothing but a corporate media sales pitch designed to separate local businesses from their money in search of manufactured popularity.
We choose not to “Contact (our) Sales Executive today!” Keep this reality in mind when you see the “Best of Northstate” marketing. One more reason we can afford to list and sell homes in the actual Northstate for just 1%. We don’t waste your money on this nonsense.
But, hey. You could always vote for us organically. It’s supposed to be a contest, right? Mysteriously, we somehow doubt we will move up from our “Top Five” position in this pay-to-play scheme.
