The Address Realty began doing business in Shasta County in September of 2011. Our Principal Broker, Erin Murphy (CA DRE Lic# 01710206) DBA The Address Realty had been a Broker Associate with a large local franchise brand brokerage in Redding since 2004, and then decided to open her own boutique brokerage, using the latest communication tools, and operating virtually. We’ve been continuously operating since then. In 2018 we opened a “brick and mortar” office at 639 Lake Blvd. Redding CA 96003. Redding business license #29490. Our core is “a daughter and pop shop,” working closely alongside our select group of trusted agent friends.

Here is our Certificate of Recognition from the Greater Redding Chamber of Commerce for 20 years of membership. We appreciate the Chamber and their work for the betterment of our community. We continue to thrive in a reputation based profession in our small town, where businesses with poor reputations simply do not last very long. We are built to last.
We keep our City of Redding Business License current and we pay taxes to Shasta County every year for our business. We note that very few of the Redding area real estate brokerages with actual business locations in Redding have current local business licenses, or pay local taxes. We don’t like taxes any more than you do, but we are proud to pay our share for the local services we all rely upon. Consider this when choosing services.
Be sure to ask any brokerage you are considering if they have a current business license. It’s the law. If a broker chooses to skip over laws they don’t like, ask yourself what other laws will they simply chose to obey when working for you?
